🕯️ The Quote

Too lazy to be ambitious,
I let the world take care of itself.
— Ryōkan

🕊️ About the Author

良寛 (1758–1831) was a Japanese Zen monk and poet,
known for his simple life and gentle, childlike spirit.

He lived quietly, often in solitude,
finding peace not in achievement, but in presence —
in everyday moments, just as they are.

💭 Reflection

We often feel the need to move forward,
to do more, or to become something.

But these words offer a different way.

What if nothing needs to be forced?

Like water flowing without effort,
life continues in its own rhythm.

In letting go of striving,
something softer begins to appear —
a quiet sense that things are already unfolding.

✨ In Practice

You might pause and notice:

・What happens when I stop trying to control everything?
・Can I allow things to be, just for a moment?

Sometimes,
when we loosen our grip —
the world gently carries us.
