While sitting beside a moss-covered rock within the grounds of Yasaka Shrine,

My card for this New Moon was Grandfather Sky.
Its message spoke of expansion, trust, and opening to the support and possibilities that exist beyond what we can immediately see.
As I sat beside the moss-covered rock and drew the cards, the sky remained calm. Then, partway through the reading, a gentle rain began to fall.
The cards became covered with small droplets of rain, some of which can still be seen in the photographs.
Rather than feeling interrupted, I found myself smiling.
In that moment, it felt like a blessing.
Perhaps it was simply a passing shower. Or perhaps it was Tenkawa’s Dragon Spirits making their presence known in their own quiet way.
Either way, the rain felt like a gift — a gentle reminder that guidance, support, and blessings often arrive in forms we do not expect.
