🌕 Lead-in │ Full Moon Oracle from Takanomiya
The Full Moon is often seen as a time of reflection, clarity, and gentle guidance.
As its light reaches its fullness, it invites us to pause, notice what has been quietly unfolding within us, and listen to the wisdom of our hearts.
This oracle reading was received during my recent visit to Takanomiya, one of the sacred auxiliary shrines of Ise Grand Shrine’s Outer Shrine (Gekū) in Mie, Japan.

Takanomiya is dedicated to the Aramitama—the dynamic and active aspect—of Toyouke Ōmikami, the deity of food, agriculture, and daily nourishment enshrined at the Outer Shrine.

Arriving early on a hot summer morning, I found the shrine grounds much quieter than I had experienced on previous visits. After offering my prayers, I found a peaceful corner near Takanomiya, away from the main path, where I quietly placed the oracle cards on a large stone and began the reading.
Surrounded by ancient trees, the chorus of cicadas, and the peaceful atmosphere of the sacred forest, the space invited quiet reflection and deep listening.

Throughout this journey, I encountered many living beings at the sacred places I visited—from a giant spider and butterflies to birds and other quiet companions along the way. Whether they were simply beautiful moments in nature or gentle reminders to pay closer attention, these encounters naturally inspired me to choose the Animal Spirit Oracle for this Full Moon reading.

Before reaching Takanomiya, I noticed this beautiful butterfly resting quietly along the path. At the time, I simply paused to admire its vivid colors before continuing my walk.
Looking back after drawing Peacock Spirit, I can’t help but wonder if this little encounter was gently preparing me for its message.
Before leaving the shrine, I quietly drew two cards for myself: Peacock Spirit – Let It Shine! and Eagle Spirit – Spirit Has Your Back.
Recently, eagles have appeared again and again whenever I visit sacred places. Seeing Eagle Spirit appear once more felt like a gentle reminder that Spirit has my back, even when I cannot yet see the whole path ahead.
What touched me most about Peacock Spirit was its reminder not to hide my true colors. Instead, it encouraged me to simply be myself and let my own light shine. Perhaps by doing so, I might also inspire someone else to share their own unique light.
