Updated: September 28th, 2025– A Warm Welcome + What’s Next!

🗻Hello from Japan!

Hi, everyone! Recently, there have been so many visitors from around the world, and I am deeply moved. Thank you so much for stopping by!
With many new readers arriving and a new video series just launched, this post re-introduces how to explore the blog and what’s coming next.
Feel free to read just the parts that interest you most. 🌿

🌈What’s New?

  • 🎥 Rainbow Threads has begun — a short-form video series (about 1 minute each) with glimpses from places all over Japan: everyday life, peaceful nature, sacred sites, cozy shops, and more.
  • 🌐 Category Update: Now Bilingual Tabs!
To make navigation easier, the category tabs are now available in both English and Japanese (for the four main categories).
This way, you can switch languages at a glance when browsing by category.
  • 🌈 Rainbow Gallery updated — see Inspiration Snapshots (weekly) and the new Rainbow Threads section.

❓How to navigate the blog

  • Start with the 🌈 Rainbow Map for a full overview, or simply follow your curiosity:
    • Pick any post via the photo + excerpt tiles.
    • Browse by category if you’re in the mood for a theme.
    • After each post, scroll down to see more from the same category, plus Previous / Next posts.
  • Each category is numbered, but you’re welcome to start anywhere — just follow what draws you in.

For those visiting for the first time and feeling unsure where to begin, I’ve added a few helpful links below — just in case they make exploring a little easier. 🌿

🎥Rainbow Threads: Video Series

Click the video icon to open the Rainbow Threads Index.
There’s one video for now — more are coming soon, and uploads will be irregular but ongoing — with clips from places all over Japan.
Follow along for visuals, reflections, and layered inspiration.
I’m also planning a future video about Kobe — an international city in Hyogo Prefecture. Hopefully-coming up very soon!

🕊️Divine Thread

This category shares stories, impressions, and photos from sacred places across Japan — shrines, temples, and nature sites.
It is not religiously affiliated and carries no agenda or persuasion. In Japan, shrines and temples are woven into everyday culture, so I focus on that cultural presence, local histories, and the atmosphere of so-called “power spots.”
Through Divine Thread, I hope to offer gentle, on-site stories and scenes for those curious about Japan’s spiritual landscape.

🌿Scent Magic

Because I love scent, I introduce Japanese incense, essential oils from around the world, and small aromatic rituals you can enjoy at home. More posts are on the way.

🗾More culture posts coming

I’ll keep adding local reports and real-world finds for readers interested in Japanese culture — not only famous landmarks, but also everyday details from different regions.

💬Translation and Language

I write all posts originally in English. Thanks to translation tools, the blog can be read in multiple languages — including Japanese, my native language.
While the translation may not always be perfect due to differences in expression, I hope the essence still comes through.
Whenever I have a chance to update the translation kit, I try to do so. I hope it continues to improve over time.
Thank you for being here, in any language.

🕊Kaha’s Message

Thank you for spending a little time here.
I’ll keep sharing what I discover and feel along the way.
Until next time — may your days be gentle and bright. 🌸
