🌕 Lead-in|Flower Moon Oracle from Ise

May’s Full Moon is often known as the Flower Moon —
a name said to come from Native American seasonal traditions,
when May was recognized as a time when flowers bloom abundantly.

It carries the feeling of spring moving toward early summer —
a season of growth, change, connection,
and the quiet life force opening all around us.

As the energy of the season continues to shift,
this Full Moon offers a gentle moment to pause,
reflect,
and notice what is beginning to bloom within your own life.

After returning from a recent retreat,
I found myself looking up at the Moon
and feeling how unexpectedly beautiful and calming its light was.

This oracle reading was received during that retreat in Ise, Japan.

The room where I stayed faced a small local shrine connected with water,
and throughout the stay,
the atmosphere felt deeply peaceful and quietly protected.

Although the reading itself was done indoors,
the shrine stood directly beyond the window,
and it felt as though the space was gently held
by a calm spiritual presence.

One of the card photos was taken afterward,
as I forgot to photograph it during the reading itself —
but the message and flow of the reading remain unchanged.

As we move toward the New Moon on the 17th,
I hope these messages may help you gently reflect on where you are now,
what this season has been teaching you,
and what quiet next step may already be beginning to appear.

🌿 This oracle is timeless.
The message reaches you at the moment you are meant to encounter it.

🌿 How to Begin

Before starting,
take one slow breath
and allow your mind to gently settle.

You may wish to light incense,
sit quietly for a moment,
or simply pause and listen to your intuition.

These messages were received during a retreat in Ise, Japan,
with a small shrine connected to water standing just beyond the window.

Although the reading was done indoors,
the atmosphere felt calm,
clear,
and quietly connected to the spiritual presence of the place.

Below, four cards are placed faced down.

Each card carries a message inspired by Japanese deities and spiritual energy.

There is no right or wrong choice.

As you look at the cards…

✨ Don’t think too much.
Simply notice which card draws your attention first. ✨

You may feel drawn to one card,
or to more than one.

Trust that feeling.

When you are ready,
scroll down slowly
and allow the messages to reveal themselves in their own time.

🌀 When your intuition has chosen, scroll down slowly.

✨ The cards are now revealed.
Take a quiet moment before reading the messages.

If more than one card resonates with you,
you are welcome to read more than one.

🔥 Card 1|Kagutsuchi no Kami — 火之迦具土神

Theme|Purification Through Fire, Creation, Understanding and Healing Karma, and Forgiveness

Kagutsuchi no Kami is the deity of sacred fire.

This card carries the energy of purification and transformation —
not only burning away what no longer serves you,
but also creating space for something new to emerge.

It speaks of understanding and healing karma,
especially emotional patterns,
old pain,
or unresolved experiences that may still be affecting your heart and spirit.

The message of this card is not about blame or punishment.

Instead,
it invites you to look at the past with greater awareness,
softness,
and honesty,
so healing can begin.

Forgiveness is also an important part of this message.

This does not mean forgetting everything that happened,
but releasing the emotional weight
that continues to remain inside you.

Kagutsuchi no Kami reminds you that
fire can purify,
transform,
and illuminate.

This card also carries a message about family and roots.

It encourages you to value your family,
your origins,
and the connections that shaped your life.

You may benefit now from spending more time with family,
reconnecting with important relationships,
or reflecting on where you come from.

✨ Message

Allow old energy to be purified gently through awareness and forgiveness.

Honor your roots,
cherish the people connected to your life,
and trust that transformation can create space
for new warmth,
clarity,
and renewal.

🍑 Card 2|Ōkamuzumi no Mikoto — 意富加牟豆美命

Theme|The Strength to Cut Things Off Cleanly, Relaxation, and Moving Toward a Brighter Future

Ōkamuzumi no Mikoto is connected with the sacred peach,
which in Japanese mythology is believed to hold the power to drive away harmful energy.

In the Kojiki, Japan’s ancient mythological text,
the deity Izanagi used peaches to drive away spirits from Yomi,
the underworld,
while escaping from the land of death.

Because of this story,
peaches came to symbolize protection,
purification,
and the power to repel negative energy.

This card carries the message of cutting away lingering energy clearly and decisively.

If there is something you continue to hold onto —
fear,
worry,
attachment,
or emotional heaviness —
this card encourages you to release it cleanly
through the protective power of the peach.

According to this message,
anxiety,
worry,
and unhealthy attachment belong to the energy of Yomi,
the underworld.

Instead,
you are encouraged to welcome softer,
fresher,
and more life-filled energy into your life —
like the gentle and juicy energy of a peach.

This deity also carries strong healing power.

You may now be entering a period where healing,
rest,
and emotional softness become important.

Allow yourself to relax more deeply.

Not everything needs to be controlled or carried alone.

This card also suggests that all of your experiences —
both joyful and difficult —
will eventually influence not only yourself,
but also the people around you.

At unexpected moments,
the wisdom gained through your own experiences
may become helpful to someone else.

✨ Message

Release fear,
worry,
and emotional attachment that no longer need to remain.

Allow healing and softness to return to your life,
and trust that your experiences
will one day become wisdom that supports both yourself and others.

🌿 Card 3|Kayanohime no Kami — 鹿屋野比売神

Theme|The Thread of Life, Growth, Harvest, and Peace

Kayanohime no Kami is a deity connected with grass,
plants,
fields,
and the natural life force of the Earth.

This card speaks about the thread of life —
the invisible connection that links living beings,
nature,
growth,
and the cycles of time.

You are being reminded that life moves in natural rhythms.

Just as plants quietly grow from the soil,
your own path is also unfolding,
even if you cannot yet see the full result.

This card encourages you to value peace,
gentleness,
and connection with nature.

You may now benefit from spending time outdoors,
feeling the wind,
touching the earth,
or simply noticing the scent and presence of plants and trees around you.

There is also a message here about growth and harvest.

The efforts,
experiences,
and emotions you have nurtured over time
will eventually bear fruit in their proper season.

Nothing grows instantly.

Like grass and plants rooted in the soil,
your life also needs time,
care,
and natural flow.

Kayanohime no Kami reminds you that
you are already supported by the larger cycle of life.

✨ Message

Do not rush your growth.

Reconnect with nature,
value moments of peace,
and trust that your life is quietly moving forward
through its own natural rhythm.

⚔️ Card 4|Futsunushi no Kami — 経津主神

Theme|Awakening, Clear Decision, and Moving Forward

Futsunushi no Kami is a deity associated with swords,
wisdom,
and the power to cut through confusion and hesitation.

This card carries the energy of awakening.

You may now be reaching a point where it is no longer possible
to remain half-asleep to what your heart already knows.

There is a strong message here about making decisions clearly
and preparing yourself to move forward.

Futsunushi no Kami encourages you to organize both your inner and outer world.

Clear your mind,
prepare yourself carefully,
and stop delaying what already needs to be faced.

This card also speaks about truth.

The sword of this deity does not represent violence,
but clarity —
the ability to cut away illusion,
fear,
and uncertainty.

You may now be asked to trust your own judgment more deeply.

Even if the next step still feels unfamiliar,
this card suggests that your spirit already senses the direction.

There is also an energy of new movement and awakening after stagnation.

What has felt paused,
unclear,
or emotionally distant
may now begin to move again.

✨ Message

Wake up gently but clearly.

Prepare yourself,
trust your inner truth,
and move forward without fear.

A new stage of life may already be beginning to open before you,
and practices that calm or sharpen your spirit
may help guide you toward the next step.

🕊️ Kaha’s Note

As I looked back on this reading,
I realized that many of the deities appearing through these cards
were connected with the shrines and places I visited during the retreat.

Fire,
peaches,
grass,
plants,
earth,
and swords —
all of these symbols appeared repeatedly throughout the journey.

It made me feel once again
that perhaps the natural world,
shrines,
temples,
and the quiet symbols surrounding us
may all be gently communicating something to us in their own way.

The Flower Moon is also said in spiritual traditions
to be a powerful time for wishes connected with prosperity,
change,
and relationships or bonds.

Because of this,
I personally felt that this Full Moon may be a beautiful time
to slow down,
connect with the spirit of nature,
and create a quiet moment for yourself.

Tonight,
I may take a bath with bath salts,
hold some seashells I collected in Awaji and Ise,
and spend a little time in quiet meditation.

Perhaps even small peaceful rituals like these
can gently reconnect us
with ourselves,
nature,
and the unseen flow moving quietly through life.
